Puppy Love

Does anyone else understand the joy of cuddling your pup right before bed? The pure joy of wrapping your arms around a warm wriggling furry body and having your face washed by a warm tongue? Do you understand the contentment in breathing in a lungful of puppy smell? Lately that is my nocturnal pleasure. Right before bed I tell "the baby" goodnight and it's the perfect end to whatever kind of day I've had. Man, I love that pup! Maybe that's close to hearing "Momma" from a human child. I'd like to think so.

You are so right. There is nothing like a wet kiss from your pup. My "pup" sleeps with us in bed and follows us everywhere. It is as close as you can get to true love. You saw my puppy at my blog. He is 16 mos. old and a character. Love him to bits. He is laying on my feet as I write this. Check back with you again. P.S. Yarn is from the Blarney Woolen Mills in Barney, Ireland. I visited when in Ireland and they only sell Aran yarn made in Ireland. Yum! They will ship anywhere.

Puppy love is a wonderful thing but beware, they grow up and get dog breath and wet-dog-smell and all that fun stuff!

I can't tell you how nice it is to have someone else going through the same thing. At least you got Tucker early enough to train him your way. Grover tends to be headstrong and we're gonna have to work hard on him.
