Why Can't I Sleep?

For the third week in a row I am experiencing lack of sleep. It's currently 10:54 pm and I should be snoring loud enough to disturb the husband, dogs and yes....even the cats. It's been a long and fulfilling day with no stressful moments. A very happy day. I accomplished many things today, some that even wore me out physically. Yet here I am.....blogging. And in a few minutes I'll be.....knitting. I don't understand. The last time this happened to me I was under a huge load of stress. I had a job I hated, a commute I hated, no freedom, and not alot of time to do what I wanted. Not a lot of craft time. Now I have a job I like, a commute that's relaxing, loads of freedom and many crafts that I not only enjoy....but absolutely delight in. My house cleans up quick, my animals are all doing fairly well, the hubby seems happy, the yard and garden are coming along, the crafts are moving along nicely, one of my favorite seasons is on the way.....and yet.....I am sleepless. I do not do well without sleep. Can it possibly be that I'm so happy and content that my mind and body are trying to "soak" it up as much as possible....so that in the future I'll have happiness in reserves? Goodness I hope not! The "cranky train" will be arriving soon if I don't get some sleep! lmao. Besides, I think that eventhough I'm trying not to.......I'm interrupting DH's sleep. Not a good thing, Martha! lol

Well, back to Midsommer Murders and knitting on the Self Striping sock. I'm done with the ribbing....almost done with the fabric part after that and next I divide up to start the heel.

PS. The Purple dying of the Esky hair split also. BEAUTIFUL! hehehe Not planned...but gorgeous! It will blend in perfectly with the Purple 2.0 and really, I think this is a winner for the felted slippers for Missy!

I hate it when that happens. You need sleep, but no matter what you do, you cannot relax. Pretty soon, though, you're going to have to just lay there and rest. Either that or you'll blow a gasket. Hang in there.

Thanks Cindy. It can be so frustrating. But then again....at least it's not unhappy insomnia. ;) I did finally get some good sleep the last two nights. YEAH!
