I am Cliodna Vector

Yep. That's me. Cliodna Vector. Sounds a bit like a disease to me. Or even a Star Trek term. You know, "Captain, there's a message coming in from the Cliodna Vector!" hehehhe I know, it's silly, but I certainly didn't choose it. See, that's my Hogwarts name. Being the uber Harry Potter geek that I am I wasn't quite ready for it all to end when I finished the last book. I've heard others blogging about the Hogwarts swaps and thought I just had to join in! So I went here and thought I'd just join right up! The sign ups were closed already so I went through the sorting hat (3 times just to be sure!) and obtained my Hogwarts name so that I could go on the waiting list for the next round. Then it dawned on me. I'm horrible with deadlines. It just took 7 months to knit a pair of socks for Don. I have a million projects going on inside and outside the house. I don't think I really should join in at this point. lol So I keep my name and proudly display the house colors anyway. I plan on knitting some Dobby socks any way and I did trip across some great sock yarn in the Ravenclaw colors...so look for that in the future. Just don't hold your breath.

Ok it's time I did the "end of the Tour" confession round. I almost all the way through the whole Tour and only petered out the last few days. I was quite disappointed that I didn't complete as much yarn as I wanted, but then I did set an incredibly outlandish goal for myself. lol I am still working on the second alpaca skein an am not really that far from finishing the singles. Maybe I can get some spinning in again later today and move forward with that project. I'd like to deliver the skeins soon.

I did check in at Ravelry just to see if I really did, in a fit of insanity, sign up. Yep. I did. I'm #16283 and there's 7873 people in front of me. Thank goodness I don't have to stand in that line! It looks like a fun place to check out and more and more people are blogging about getting their invites. I just wonder where I'll find the time.... lol

You'll probably notice (now that I pointed it out) that I've added another few links to the right. The two new knitting ones Knitwonpurltoo and Knitinggal are the two blogs I'm currently able to stay up to date with. Busy as I am, I have to keep tabs on Oliver and Grover! Tucker wouldn't stand for not having his buddy's updates. lol The other new one is Amberson Art. Tanya is a customer of mine from way back and a local artist. She is a wonderful woman that does beautiful artwork! Part of the proceeds from sales of her paintings support Old Dog Haven, a wonderful local program. Take a look at her work and see if there isn't something you just can't live with out! hehehe. I sent her a bunch of pictures of Tucker (and will be sending more) so we may just see a painting of him on her site one day. lol

Ok that's about all for now. I've got to get up and get some cleaning done. I'll post a garden update later this afternoon!

I just wanted to let you know that I am a Gryffindor. LOL! In addition, I will not be bringing Oscar around your horse Tucker since that is like a scooby snack! HE IS HUGE. Brooke wants to see him again.
